Your training seems to have taken a detour since I last checked in. Nice!
Sounds fun! Did you have issues with tight shoulders etc from lots of bench when switching to a more oly/thrower program?

What's ur best put? Think if memory serves me I threw a 16/17m distance to set a provincial record over.

My shoulders are set back a lot more now, i'll hopefully throw a bit more bench in but it used to affect my snatch after i benched. I've got the BUCS Champs next sunday and it should be solid 14's, thats some good putting, how old were you? I'm enjoying the training just bloody tiring.

only ever had the opportunity to do it at PE/Games up until 5th year, then year round rugby practice/training took over. Did enjoy it, I was a glider! Grin

Wasn't taught anything apart from what was defined as a put. Then told to throw it as far as you can. Youtube taught me to glide.
I thought 16-17 was ok. 18-19 was great. I'm not sure what weight of shot it was come to think of it.
