Joni 'The Bull' Purmonen Wins U105 Inbetweeners

1st June 2010 - Posted by Rob Joni 'The Bull' Purmonen underlined his status as "Sugden's Strongest Admin" with a nail-biting victory in yesterday's "U105 'The Inbetweeners' Contest". Held in Melton Mowbray by Jason Talbot of AtlasStones.co.uk, the competion offered the top place a wild-card entry to this year's Englands Strongest Man U105 competition.

In a closely fought battle which featured many Sugden Barbell faces, Joni was declared the winner after an initial scoring error was resolved. Joni won the title on the countback rule as a result of his event win in the harness pull / arm-over-arm.
