China Dominate Weightlifting World Championships

2nd December 2009 - Posted by Rob The 77th Weighlifting World Championships, held in Korea, concluded this past Sunday. China dominated the medals tables, taking a massive haul of 39 medals, including 18 golds. Kazakhstan came in second place with a total of 9 golds.

The International Weighlifting Federation have updated their website with full results, as well as a video and some short interviews with the medal winners in the men's super-heavies class, which was won by AN Yong-Kwon of South Korea with a 445kg total.
