Managed to get back training.

Bench on thursday got up to 110 x 5.

Squats tonight got 180x6 but unsure on depth.

Got a video and would appreciate any comments on depth of squats and general form.

Cheers

Got through to do some event stuff on saturday, couple lads were kind enough to show me the ropes and let me join in, unfortunately managed to pick up a lower back injury. Pain has eased today so going to hopefully ease back into upper body tomorrow and see how I hold up.

cheers dude.

I think some of them are a bit ambitious, especially for 6 months, i'd be more than happy to make that sort of progress by end of year.

Hi, thought it was time to join the site rather than just lurking from time to time.

I've been training at the gym for around 3 years but had no real goals other than to get strong, 2014 my training didn't get up to much and I put a bit of fat on and my strength stayed about the same.

This year i've decided to pull my finger out and train harder, and finally go and learn event style lifts.

I've entered a newcomer comp for June, maybe a bit ambitious but it will keep me motivated and hopefully help me train that bit harder.

Going to try and keep a regular log to see what sort of progress I can make.

Current Lifts/Goals for June

Squat - 200kg/240kg
Bench - 120kg/140kg
Deadlift - 235kg/265kg
Strict Press - 80kg/100kg
Push Press - 100kg/120kg

BW - 105kg
