Been off all this week due to back pain. Went to chiropractor on wednesday so got a few visits back in the next few weeks to try sort it out.

Did some light bench as part of deload week.

Nothing special.

60x20
80x8
90x5 (paused)

5x60x10

DB Rows 5x30x10

Foam rolling, heard some crunching and cracking in my back and the pain has eased so pretty chuffed!

Hi! In response to your squat video, horrible form, barely even a quarter rep, maybe you should try crossfit? Tongue

Trained Bench on Sunday

60 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 3
105 x 3
110 x 3
120 x 5 - was surprised I managed this but it felt pretty goood.

Bench 5 x 10 @ 60kg , 30 sec rests

Monday was Deadlift night

100 x 5
120 x 5
150 x 3
180 x 5
210 x 3
235 x 1 - the clips at the gym are terrible and all the weights moved after first rep. Although it did feel heavy so another rep would of been struggly.

Trap bar deadlifts

120kg on bar for 5 x 10

Hanging leg raises.

Tuesday Night - 10 x 50m Hill sprints.

I squatted in a fed that allowed ...lets say ...parallel squats ....all lovely ...I squatted 500lb raw and 285 in a suit .......(after a 3 year break doing triathlons) .... now I am doing sets with 105kg.... going as deep as I can and not worring about the weight difference
I know I am deeper and long term it will pay off.
get some squat shoes !!
if you are size 8 or 9 ,you can have mine when I get some new ones !

Boar said:they are strong squats, and im not particulalry qualified - i would say they are parallel , i havnt really seen a vid of myslef from the side for a while so i cant say for sure if mine are deeper , so in conclusion ..... what was on your feet ?

on my feet I had some of the finest striped socks around. they came in a pack of three.

Lurkio said:Much better mate, although you still need to go a tad deeper to break parallel. Happy

I hate squats now. wish I had chosen a better hobby, knitting, golf or something.
