I currently have an hg200 and an hg250 gripper. I can close the hg200 for 3 sets of 10 reps but I'm a good 4-5mm short of closing the hg250. Any one offer any advice on how to close this thing?!

I had this exact problem. I could rep forever on the 200 and then I started doing holds with them closed for time and releasing just before failure. Then took a week off from the grippers then voila 2 reps on the 250. I assume you are setting the grippers correctly and using chalk.

Work on your overall grip then come back to them in 8-10 weeks. Do wide grip pinch holds, thickbar and use thick towels on back assistance training.
