This competition will take place on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of June 2013. As always there will be a novice and open show to go along with the main event which will be held over the two days four events each day with the top five athletes qualifying for UKs Strongest Man under 105 2013. Venue Gordon's Promanade Gravesend Kent. TShirts and Trophies for top three in each event. £20.00 per person to enter Sponsors of these events so far Reflexions Gym Dartford And Mazda Bourne Road Crayford welcome Chaos Protein to this event Presented by Martin VOS Cee. Confirmed Referees so far Sean Kennedy UKs Strongest Man 2012. This event will be raising money for Stacey Mowle a local girl needing £500,000 to get to America for treatment of her cancer Please dig deep and give all you can....! Weigh in for 105s will be on the Saturday morning from 8.00 a.m. Events for novices. Event one 100kg log for reps 60 secs Event two 100kg farmers 20 metres 60 secs Event three Oly bar deadlift 220kg for reps 60 secs Event four Super Yoke 260kg 20 metres 60 secs Event Five Arm over Arm 4x4 Mazda 20 metres 60 secs Events for opens Event one 140kg log for reps 60 secs Event two 140kg farmers 20 metres 60 secs Event three Olympic Bar deadlift 300kg reps 60 secs Event Four 400kg Super Yoke 20 metres 60 secs Event Five 80kg dumbbell for reps 60 secs Event six Keg Toss 8 kegs over a four metre bar 60 secs 105s Events Day one Event one Pressing Medley 100kg oly bar 110kg log 120kg axle 70kg dumbell once 60 secs Event Two 130kg Farmers 20 metres 60 secs. Event Three Mazda Car deadlift 260kg reps 60 secs Event Four Super Yoke 320kg 20 metres 60 secs Day Two Event Five 110kg Axle for reps 60 secs Event Six Stone carry for distance 155kg 60 secs Event Seven Arm over Arm 4x4 Mazda 20 metres 60 secs Event Eight Loading medley 90kg keg 15 metres from platform 120kg Ironmind sack 10 metres from platform 130kg keg load up On to platform All events are subject to change.
