Started demolishing one of these bad boys just before gym sesh and energy levels seem to be higher and recovery between sets seem to be quicker :-)

Can anyone else verify this or is it just in me head????

It's probably the nuts. If I eat nuts about an hour before I lift I'm highly energised. s**t, I should do that more often!

The fat in them will probably reduce the glyceamic index overall so you get a slower released energy supply.
