Also anyone wanting to stay down we will have discount food vouchers for Eden Palace Curry house in Dartford There will be prize money for top 3 and some supplements for the top 6 This event is open to all and hoping to get some really good competitors down for it! If the date clashes I apologise but this is the only date we could do it due to it being part of another event Mike Holmes Will Egan Phil Wootten Lloyd Renals Paul Carter Chris Gearing Alex Culletto Mikey Lane Kyle White Rich Cooper Dean Slater Jon Bleach Graham Plimbley Rules for Dartfords Strongest Man 2011 1 Pressing medley DB can be cleaned to the Shoulder with 2 hands but 1 hand must be released before the press is attempted. The DB must be lifted to full arms length with feet in line and under control Block press must be lifted to full arms length with feet in line, head through and under control. Log press must be lifted to full arms length with feet in line, head through and under control. Axle Press must be lifted to full arms length with feet in line, head through and under control. Belt cleans not allowed unless it is raining then they will be permitted Each object will be timed Time limit 75 secs 2 Keg Toss All kegs must be thrown in order as set up and you cannot move onto the next Keg until the one you have been throwing has cleared the bar! You must retrieve this keg yourself. Barrier height will be 4.5 m. We will time on 6th, 7th and 8th kegs but in the case that 2 people only get 5 they will share points Time limit 60secs 3 deadlift You will be given a lift signal at the bottom and a down signal at the top, you will then not lift again until you hear the lift signal again! There will be no bouncing of the car. Straps and suits are permitted Time limit 60secs 4 Loading Medley The object must be loaded in order (100kg keg, 120kg sandbag and 130kg keg). The kegs must be in an upright position. Times will be taken on every object. If an object falls off it is down to the athlete to put it back up on the platform. Gloves are allowed but no tacky Time limit 60secs 5 Farmers Walk The farmers must be carried the full distance with the whole things crossing the line. The time will not stop till both farmers are completely over the line Time limit 60secs Stones There will be loaders to make sure they stay on the platform but this does not mean you just throw them up and expect them to catch them! They must be put on in a sensible manner Time limit 60secs
