Im trying to organise a strongman competition here in Chippenham, Wilts to raise money in aid of the appeal fund that we have set up to offer as a reward for information leading to the whereabouts of my friend, Donavan van Lill who has been missing since March 3rd! So far i have been granted permission Wiltshire council to use Monkton park here in Chippenham as the venue and the guys from our two local gyms have pledged to take part in a novice catagory. Ive got a PA system donated a printing company has pledged to help with posters and ive also got some hot cheerleaders but what im having problems with now is sourcing the gear needed for the events! I need Atlas stones, farmers walk and log press gear, tyres for flipping etc! I cant set a date or start putting up posters and giving sponsorship forms without the equipment! I cant hold a strongman competition full stop! Is there anyone here that might be able to help? The media are covering this story and what im trying to do so whoever donates will have alot of free advertising and publicicty and its for a very good cause! Kind regards Gazz | ||

Saturday 23rd October @ The Olympiad Leisure centre in Chippenham, Wilts. Still have to sit down and decide start time and the events but i will keep it relatively simple with 2 groups of 6, open and novice. Just a few lose ends to tie up and we're done! | ||
