Absolutely, but my point was that for Carl to change the program to what suits you, before having tried it as written down for himself, does not make sense.

You know my view mate, use it as a base. Then after doing a few different routines you're able to see what works for you...

Is it tha Coan style, Ortmayer etc etc

What kind of % of 1rm do you use on the circuits? Do you progressively increase the weight of these as each week passes?
Also the assistance work drops towards the end as it is in preparation for a meet. If you're not attending a meet is it still worthwhile reducing the assistance to the same degree?

Yeah I'd keep it cut down as your still progressing towards a top weight at the end.

I Did this up 2 the raw powerlifting contest i did earlier in the year. only got 2 week 7 and i did my own assistance. I found the speed work really helped. Harry has done it twice and had good improvement both times.

I've heard nothing but good things about it, so decided to give it a bash.

As it tends to stay away from anything too heavy for first few weeks, I have found that my pulls around 200-215 are a lot snappier than they have been. It could be in my head but I dont think so...

Looking forward to the last couple of weeks and pushing myself a bit. Happy
