Member 3919, 243 posts | As next year heralds the start of my fourth decade I can now look forward to mediocrity and disappointment in masters comps as opposed to inters. Will, hopefully, be doing bodypower masters in May, and that will be the focus of my training over the next few months. Since last comp in August lost about 20kg (deliberately) but also all my limited strength (not deliberately). Siting at about 106 now and around 12%bf. Aim is to keep dieting till February and hopefully get under 10% and then start adding more viable weight until comp time. Training highlights today; Incline 100 x 5 x5 Pull ups on hand grip things Bw x15 Bw x 10 x 3 Starting from a very low level and hopefully will improve when I start eating again! | ||

Member 3919, 243 posts | Billy, I don't want to quit but my body may intervene! Boxing Day- Thought this would be the best time to commence contest prep. Which proved to be incorrect. 12" deadlift- back went spastic twang at 230kg. Happy Christmas! All I could manage then was fat grip pull ups (can't do more than four) and then some occluded biceps. Could be worse, could be George Michaels florist. | ||

Good exercise pull downs paused incline press 60 x 5 80 x 5 100 x 5 110 x 5 Still felt like the kb's were still attached to the bar when doing these presses, very odd. pushdowns/rear delt | ||
