I still think if he spends the next year improving his technique & speed on events, working on conditioning and dropping about 15kg he could have a chance at WSM 2017. Whether he'll do that is another story, he does seem to be obsessed with getting bigger and improving his gym strength, which is pretty pointless at this point imo.

I agree completely. The strength is there, just needs to become an athlete with it

How's it dumb? Did he still not weigh 100lbs less??
40-45kg less then!

Yeah but he doesn't actually have much more muscle and muscle moves weight, he's shorter and has no bodyfat and is a world class powerlifter. Him getting somewhat near eds strength doesn't mean ed is not a complete monster.

This is actually really well updated nowhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xoB5MQKaL1FtrrNcQ_806xQSijbxbRs_L8qhjd1hCQs/htmlview#
Thor 2 points ahead of Ed and Brian 5 point ahead of Ed...Thor and Shaw both have their best events on day 2. Plane pull, kettle bell throw and stones.
