well done terry along with loz last week england have some awesome strength stars at the moment
and congrats on your first win on your birthday
but on a negative note (sorry) that deadlift was a pile of s**te that should have been tested what was the point of the extra weight on the front
also i think the car on the right must have been heavier pull as only big Z got a rep on it, i think it was the reg plate that made the difference !!!!
but kevin knee and travis not getting a lift when both are arround and over the 400k mark in deadlifting is a joke
made some of the athletes look silly
but again well done

Travis said he thought the car on the right was heavier but they were tested, same frames, same car etc. I beat Z on the deadlift at WSM experience so it's not like a total shock. Travis only managed 2 with the one in Finland which I got 6 with so he's not at his best at the minute! I know Z has been suffering with a hamstring injury too. If they weren't tested I would possibly agree but they were.

I agree was too heavy because so many guys took zero's, no shock the top 4 were the guys that got reps on the deadlift

no fair shout
was kinda tongue in cheek cause the right one had a reg plate and others was missing !!! was implying that made the difference in weight(god that went down like a lead baloon)
well done again
where do you think you need to improve before worlds to win it
looks like your hanging with the best these days week in week out and i have always thought as an athlete you preform better in the WSM format (2 events a day in the heats and so on)rather than a one day event
so what your game plan just to keep going the way your going or are you targeting any particular area

stength feels good, need some tech work on my axle, keep bringing my overhead up, get a touch fitter and get some work on my fingals finger. It is nearly all there now. still just gotta keep working hard and hope it is enough

Great result Terry and thanks for posting vids.
Did a tester actually lift the deadlift comp weight before hand? must've been a strong guy if he did.
Have you tried taking electrolyte drinks in between events like rehydrate or deoralyte to combat the cramping?

they got 2 guys who are around the 220 mark to deadlift it together.

i usually do mate, left mine at home, which was a complete f**k up

Fantastic performance Terry. Superb truck pulling as usual, very impressive deadlifting and great heart to put so much into the last event when you were obviously in agony. Went down to see this with my family and had a great day. Thanks for the autograph too. My nephew's still buzzing after meeting you, Z, Kevin Nee and Travis Ortmeyer.

The way Mark Westaby thoughtfully puts the cross down is CLASS! Grin

Fantastic performances from the British lads. Well Done Terry and Mark! The results lately with Terry finishing joint top with Big Z and Laurence pushing Poundstone all the way the other week proves they have what it takes to win WSM! Mark Westerby and Rob Framton also have done us proud!

Agree with Andy on the weight of the deadlift, doesn't look great for some of the top lads not making the lift,

On the plus side i was standing beside Terrys car and could see the 3 reps went up easy, there was a bit of confusion whether he needed to do another rep, which he clearly could have done.
