Last year I made a 90ish stone and it’s now got a bit too easy so I made another. It’s 130-140.

Tried a few picks today (with tacky) and it felt like it was going to pull the skin off my forearms. Not abrasion but like pulling. Is that normal? Anything bad actually ever happen in that regard? Do sleeves help?

Sleeves will help, but I doubt that the pulling sensation will turn into anything more serious than abrasion. I've never heard of an Atlas stone doing a Ramsay Snow on anyone.

Ok good to know, thanks. If that sensation is normal I’ll just push through it!

I use sleeves for training to avoid the constant pain and abrasions then go raw in comp as I find bare arm grips better

I’ve trained it a couple of times now and got kind of used to the feeling. I want to try out sleeves though as I know the comp stones are very abrasive (mine have quite a smooth finish). Thanks folks
