Load the bar until it reaches the floor to work out how much tension is in the bands. Be careful unloading the bar though, if you take off too much from one side it will shoot up at quite a speed.

how do you set this up? both bench and dead

In a power cage.

For the deadlifts I double some greens and set them up so they are unloading at the knee. So the bars are around waist height.

For benching, you can choke some bands around the top of the cage.
