A set of 8, 15 breaths, a set of 5, 15 breaths, a set of 2. Rest pausing is what all the cool kids do these days.

Done a bit of conditioning stuff to lose some more fat after drinking twice this week. Gonna try and get down to the 82s for the Anglian bench comp in October. If all goes well, on paper I can qualify for the british bench.

Saturday conditioning (all of these were done with a big rock from my garden. probs 10kg)- Circuit of:

Squats x 10, Lunges x 10, Box jumps x 20, bent rows x 10, oh press x 10, curls x 10, tri extensions x 10.
I did this 5 times through, only rested between the 4th and 5th circuits.

Todays circuits

Reverse lunges x 10, push ups x 10, mountain climbers x 10, green band rows x 10, green band rdls x 10. Did this 5 times through no rest, then lied on the floor, soaking wet, for 5 minutes listening to a bit of beethoven. Lovely!

The RP next to it means rest pause. Those are my total amount of reps mate over 3 mini sets! Sorry to be misleading. Im getting 8 reps on those for the first bit at those weights. So now you can be half as complimentary mate! How is your DL coming along. Better than mine I hope. I could probably do 3 plates at a push right now. Im a mess!

This was the hardest I have worked in a long time. Massive set of shakes when I left the gym.

Hammer curls 22.5s x 11RP
Preacher curls 37.5 x 19
Lying leg press 85x50 - this was easier than last week. Also, i didnt get cramp after 20 reps. No problems with the back.
Lying leg curls 75 x 14RP

Also did a ton of back raises today really trying to squeeze my arse cheeks (imagining a big gay bear is behind me) to ease my back pain. It seems to have worked temporarily.

Bench press 110 x 11RP (had help on last rep of last mini set)
Seated OH press 72.5x 10RP- it was at this point that I realised I am getting a tad fatigued and it is time for a week of the D word.
Inverted rows 10 x 13, 22.5 x 5
Hammer close grip press 110 x 18RP

Also did a ton of big gay back raises for my rice paper spine. Off for conditioning now!

Keir, are you coming down to the All England in a couple of weeks to do some loading / spotting? It'll probably be a better workout than you seem to be getting at the moment. Your wardrobe could probably do with the free t-shirt. Besides, you know that you miss our piss taking and we've got that great big mirror that you can flex into. Happy Happy Happy

Last training session of this block for me. I'm gonna do a low week and focus on prehab next week in preparation for my next block.

Preacher curl 40kg x 18RP
Hack squat 110 x 7- first heavy leg work in 8 weeks!!!!
Lying leg press 90 x 54 reps
Hammer curls 22.5s x 10 RP- I approached this like a f**king pussy and I got what I deserved- less reps than last time.
Lying leg curls 77.5x 15RP

This was followed by lots of reverse lunges to open up my hips, big gay back raises to sort out my back and some stretches.
