work equals i cant make the training times at the farm im afraid!

im on till 6 every day and im biking home from newport pagnell most of those. 30 miles of biking is not a good warm up for training! Anyway I'm gettin hella buff at better bodies on my own. It must be the lack of elvis presley and boney m on the radio causing my estrogen to go through the roof! A proper gym with proper tunes.

Mobility

Squats- f**k load of reps at 50kg. ended with a set of 30. no pain... which was nice!
Back raise iso- 5kg for 2minutes
Fat bar holds- 67.5kg for 1 minute
Incline curls- 20s for 15RP

The pythons are coming along a treat, as is my farmers tan from workin outside with the kids all day!

Tweaked my shoulder a bit today but no back pain. Bit shagged from biking the 16 miles to work this morning but I manage to increase weight and/or reps on everything today. Besides the injuries things are going well.

DB bench press: 47.5s x 16RP
T bar row: 57.5x8, 47.5x13
Close grip smith press: 100 x 10RP
Double D lat pulldown: 90 x 15RP
DB cleans: 9s x 29RP

Shoulder proper hurts today so f**k loads of tiger balm and mobility were enjoyed. I think its the bicep tendon that is getting pinched. All the pain is in the front of the joint with no pain during rotator cuff work. On a positive note I was able to squat with zero pain today and push things enough to fatigue myself a bit and stave off detraining so much.

Squats: lots of mobility, worked up to 60kg for 30 reps
Back raise isometric: 10kg plate for 90secs
Incline curls: 20s for 15RP- these felt extremely hard. not sure what is going on here. I think I will keep going for another hard week, then take a down week.
Fat bar holds: 70kg for 60 seconds.

Holy crap. When I last saw you a couple of months ago you'd have struggled with hit 10@95 with a bar. Now you're hitting 16@95 with dbs. Are you doing a Curt or something?

Nah. its called gettin fat! Im 14 6 now. Nothing gets the appetite going like skunk cake at the weekend!

Im thinkin I will try and get up to about 15 stone, then lose a load for a comp in december. I think you were going on about one around that time. My back wont be right for September I dont think.

Back in full swing this week. My weights were starting to go down and I was feeling run down on monday so I decided to tit about for a week. Still trained, just with straight sets and no rest pausing etc. Still managed to bench 125 at the end of the week which was a PB for me. No doubt the added weight helped. Today I began my diet for December. I have 24lb to lose in 3 months to reach the 82.5s.

My back still felt rubbish today so I was reduced to lots of poncy bbing stuff on a lying leg press. It completely took my back out of things so I'll take it over nothing.

DB hammer curls. 20s x 14RP
Preacher curls. 32.5kg x 18RP
Lying leg press machine. 100kg x 30 reps, slow eccentric with a 10 second pause at the end of the set.
Lying hamstring curl. 70x14RP.

Close grip lat pull 100kg x 12RP
Hammer strength press elbows in 100 x 15RP

Diet is going well. Sticking to it no problem. I am no feeling the tiredness at the end of the day however.

Indeed I am. Its working out ok seeing as I need to be inventive to work my legs without breaking my back. That and all the pretty boy bodybuilders are good motivation for the diet!

Cheers mate. Iv tried my hardest to work around the thing but I think I'm going to have to be patient and let it heal. The doctors have made it clear they will do f**k all to help me. So I'm trying to massage and heat it as best I can to get the blood flowing and get the disc to heal. Septembers comp is out of the question now but I've set my sights on December.
