 Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | Thank you to all those people who contributed to the success of the contest this weekend. There was some excellent lifting on both days and the contest ran very smoothly. A big thanks to all those people who have given up their time this weekend to help out, it's a huge task to transform empty rooms into a contest venue and in many cases then do loading as well. The results should be up on the GBPF website in the next few days. | ||

You should not be allowed to host a national comp without sufficient warm up options for the racks-in lifter. No problem with the loading, I enjoy it, especially with the fifteen minute breaks they had yesterday, they make a huge difference. My hands are aching though | ||

We were only too happy to help you get rid of some of them bumper plates afterwards by whisking them off into the Jasmobile! It took ages for us to get home as we had approx 400kg of powerlifters plus 200kg of plates in the motor...lowrider  | ||

Alot of time thought and effort goes into these comps behind the scenes and i think were very lucky to have Bryn here in the nw because he does a hell of alot. Joe bullocks got to deserve a mention as well did a hell of alot over the two days as well as the running about to ashington back and to. Shame the numbers were quite low this year but some of the quality of lifting made up for that! | ||
