TRAINING NOTES;

Quad has started to be abit of a pain so cutting back the volume just till it heals. No squats etc for the time being. Not a big issue as I need to work my deadlift again. Off NSAID's now and bicep pain is being held at bay. 14 weeks out from the Expo.

Paused db bench

45kg's for 14 (PB), 8,7,6

Split squat (left leg only)

6 sets of 10-15

Tricep extensions

4 sets of 15-20

Hamstring curls

4 sets of 10

Lateral raises

3 sets of 15-25

Calf raises

4 sets of 10-15

NOTES;

Going to keep my assistance in the higher rep range for a while, just while I heal up. Have quite a few niggles/strains at the moment;

Pectineus
Adductor magnus
Adductor longus
Lateralis
Psoas
Rectus femoris

Aswell as a shooting pain in my right glute when I deadlift. ALL of these strains/pulls are in the right leg, hence the focus on the left leg for the time being.

Pressing seems to be going well though. Bodyweight is 96kg.

NOTES;

Physio on my adductors and lateralis yesterday, eased out both nicely, may be back to full leg training next week. May have to subsitute squats for hack squats for a while, my hip flexors don't like being 'compressed' during the lean of any squats and unilateral work doesn't provide the neural drive bilateral work does.

Haven't logged in a while. Trying some higher rep stuff on upper to grow, seems to be working. Tried a 342.5kg deadlift yesterday but no go. Bit more practice and I'll be in shape again... Lateralis seems to be easing out and my adductors ae healing up nicely (and seemingly) getting stronger from the ultra wide stance work.
