Biceps

Im a big believer in that having strong biceps helps with many events, such as the clean of a log, atlas stones pick up and arm over arm!

dumbell curls

10 x 15kg
10 x 30kg
8 x 45kg
6 x 52.5kg

Small log bicep curl

10 x 60kg
10 x 80kg
10 x 90kg
10 x 100kg

finished off with 5 sets on preacher bench - lightish weights.

If people have different views on bicep training in strongman please let me know!!

Wednesday

Back :

Dead lifting

8 x 60kg
8 x 120kg
4 x 180kg
4 x 220kg
2 x 260kg
1 x 280kg
8 x 220kg

All above with no belt/straps etc.

Completed back workout with low row, seated row and stiff leg deadlifts on smith machine.

No pain, soreness with back at all this morning so obviously didn't push myself enough!

Iv pulled 300kg for a double, but that was with straps. my aim is to be pulling 340 mid next year. if i get my technique sorted i know it will come! plus my brother pulled 300kg on tuesday night so its good friendly competition for me!

i know it sounds a lot in 7/8 months but i dont look at it as 40kg!!! i just see it as an extra plate a side!!! are you able to make it tomorrow morning?

Saturday you mean? No unfortunately not mate. May be there Sunday though

I feel that my weak point in the lift is the last movement, i can always pick the weight of the floor but its the locking out that i struggle with so i thought (or should i say guessed) that these may help with the lock out as its all on my back? also going to throw a few high rack pulls in there.
