Member 4800, 6 posts	If anyone is interested.. I'm running Chorley's Strongest man (novice) event at my Gym on 17th Nov . 11am registration, 12 start... Events Farmers 110 Yoke 210 Log 90 Deadlift 220 (straps ok) Carry and drag.. £20 to enter to cover costs.. hopefully get some T shirts sorted. Trophies and supplements for winners My Gym is PowerHouse Gym Chorley, Cowling Mill, Chorley ,Lancashire It's an indoor event... No ringers... It's a Novice comp... A few of the lads who have put there name down are first timers...

My asshole is not watertight. Member 2926, 6051 posts SQ 217.5, BP 107.5, DL 225 550.0 kgs @ 86kgs UnEq	I would have thought this comp would have been a good one for all the guys round Leyland/Preston etc. Being my home town I might even pop across to watch! On a side note, I've competed against Jason in a couple of BBing comps back in the day and trained in the same gym as him for years so it would be nice for this comp to be a success.

Not a massive amount agreed but Tom gets a few down every saturday for strongman training at SAS Leyland, sure a couple of them would be doing it! I also know a few from other gyms who are into it. However, as Si knows all too well, Chorley is mainly an area for smacked up bodybuilders not strength athletes!!!!
