WilliamT8 said:Hi Buzz,
Ive been looking at buying my first pair of weightlifting shoes for extra stability when pressing and your shoes are the cheapest that I've found.

I was wondering whats the difference, if any, between the Lions and the Lokis, apart from the cost and colour?

Thanks.

Lokis are a bit of a heavier shoe. Rubber midsole on the Lokis, wooden midsole on the Lions. Slightly thicker uppers in the Lokis.

Lokis are a good buy at the moment because of the price if nothing else, but limited sizes left in stock. Also got new Oly shoes coming in in around 6 weeks time.

No I'll just take it to where Tom Martin takes his and get them to stitch it really well, won't cost me much
I paid peanuts for the suit as it is mate, and it's pretty awesome!
I just want to re iterate the positive feedback JC has given on these
I'm fact I'm going to buy my little brother one when I get some grippers and whatever else I want to purchase next!

Glad you're happy with it Mike, but we still offer a guarantee on them, at least let us refund the cost of repair to the next order you place! (I'll do it anyway, even if you say no Happy)

fong said:generally how much does lead shot cost for the monster dumbbell? a quick look on google scares me, is there a cheap cost effective way to fill em up?

cheers

Sand is cheap, but will generally only take it to around 45/48kg or so. Shot is quite pricey right enough. We're looking at the possibility of stocking it in the future. Ebay seems to be about the cheapest place we've found to get it so far.

I spoke about you (briefly) to Rachel and Karl. Karl seems like a top bloke and has done amazing things with that place! not much StrengthShop stuff in sight though...Wink

Lol, I'm sure they had some, it's probably all broken now! Happy

Was going to go round when we were down at Xmas (Beard knows them well) but didn't get time.

I heard a rumour you've moved to the CF-side Millsy! Fair few places in Manchester, had some dealings with most of them, but the folk at 3D seem sound (Karl and Jane are the folk I've dealt with I think).

Deadlift suit and bands turned up the next day

Bands are brilliant... Especially for me due to my occasional casual set ups

Deadlift suit will be used, I'm very confident it will do me well

Thanks Brian

No probs Mike!

fatneck said:Are you still going to get bigger bands in, Bri?

Yes, got the 5's, 6's and 7's under production at the moment. They'll still be a while off though (maybe 3 months). Hardly used to sell any of the 5's, 6's, or 7's, but shift a fair few of them now. 7's are crazy thick, could use them for a human catapult!

Oxman said:
Yeah i plan on using the 2's for normal band work, i will be ordering some 4's i think when i get some spare cash, cheers mate.

Yeah, 2's for normal work and 4's for mainly reverse work is a good combination I'd say.
