I normally found that the arm that locked out first was the weakest with the strongest arm lagging behind to press out.

careful now, if you get too close to 105 you might actually have to do a powerlifting comp rather than just talk about it Happy

I will next year, might do one in December depending on new baby. there's no competition in Scotland anyway...

Also rep ranges for light assistant work such as face pulls I always work around the 12-18 rep range

I always used to rep to failure, never did facepulls but did a lot of drop sets and assistance work (more like a bodybuilder)

also train your potato cuffs.

I always found that they got hammered after a while heavy benching

I think you'll find I am 109kg fatty, I just look like a dwarf due to swoleness

There aren't many big benchers who aren't bloody heavy(Irishmarc is only one I know)

ursus said:if your training is heavy enough on both your bench and overhead days you phsically shouldnt be able to dream of another bench day !! The reason Eric has two bench days is because he does heavy bench and overhead and tris in one session and then a couple of days late shoves in a light/speed session.
Try not to overcomplicate Neil and just put some heavyass weight on that bar and batter it !!

totally agree.

heavy bench day, heavy overhead day (not push press but focusing on developing shoulder strength - dumbbell presses, seated press etc) throw in french press, dips etc and chins for upper back. if you build the basic strength then you can work on line and technique later.

Zavickas would have more girth, Marius would have a veiny one. Id job Zavickas though. he looks as though he'd cuddle afterwards.

The diesels are reliable, but not worth it at the milage drew will be doing tbh.
Better off having a decent petrol instead

suppose, I just like the diesels. how about a golf GTi or SEAT equivalent?

I have a little 100bhp 2 door smart car (2nd one I have owned although this has a turbo and flappy paddles) for town driving and its excellent (not great for long journeys though)

you could get a little SLK 200 for less than £10k with about 40,000 on the clock
