Ive just finished it so im going to break the yoke and farmers out next week and give it a try! Training today: Deadlift (belt): 140kg x 4 160kg x 3 180kg x 2 200kg x 1 215kg x 1 230kg x 1 PB 180kg x 1 140kg x 3 160kg x 2 180kg x 1 200kg x 1 235kg x 1 PB Squats (belt): 60kg x 10 100kg x 10 f**king brilliant. +15kg PB says this routine works. A great end to probably the best training week ive ever had. Merry Xmas everyone! | ||

I was pretty much useless for the rest of the day and half of the day after those sessions. Other than that I didnt feel to bad as I was just training upper body and no events. Also, as someone pointed out in my log on SDF I did the 5 week routine in 4 weeks. I didnt mean to I just kept missing days out here and there and ended up with a week less than intended so I must have felt fairly fresh! Next time I do it ill use about 95% of my new max from the start instead of 100% as I think thats a bit too much. After much chopping and changing im now doing the 105 catergory in the team comp in january! So theses are my events: EVENT 1: YOKE CARRY AND DRAG 20 METRES 105 - 300KG + 2 80KG TYRES EVENTS 2: SAFELIFT 75 SECS, TAGGED IN 105: 100KG EVENT 3: 440KG TYRE, 75 SECS, QUICKEST TIME FOR SET FLIPS 105: 5 FLIPS EVENT 4: 18'' DEADLIFT, 3 LIFTS EACH STRAPS ALLOWED STARTING WEIGHTS: 105: 200KG EVENT 5: FARMERS FOR DISTANCE, 75 SECS, TAGGED IN 105: 120KG CONE TO CONE IS ABOUT 20 METRES Should probably start event training again then! | ||
