Cant help think the surgeon was keeping a bit quite and how s**t the next 4 or 5 days would be! Had to sleep elevated, when I could sleep. Blood and mucus all the place. Blocked nose not allowed to blow it. Struggled to swallow. Got infected so trip to GPs. Much better now, at least I can breathe a bit but still mucus city... I feel at least my elbow and back will benefit from the rest from training, in fact not even thought about them. May try a bit of cycling in a weeks time, when im back at work to raise bloody pressure then slowly gauge how light lifting affects me. Hope this surgery has been worth the trouble. Heard a few horror stories! | ||

God only knows how much strength Ive lost. Don't really think I've lost much size which is odd. Do I even lift...? | ||

It will come back quickly enough once you're back in the gym. Natties don't fluctuate in size that much, you know. Have you been able to do any light cardio? | ||

At least yer doing something Haha face still ugly as ever, nose still swollen in parts and doesn't seem to be healing but my nostrils like I expected it to after nearly 5 weeks. Yes at least I'm doing something I wrote a 3 week block of training, steady build up, but maybe its to much too soon nor feeling easy! Plus im slowly loosing weight so lifting suffering. Down 102 to 97kg ish now. | ||

Still having to be careful with bracing and (not) holding my breath. Rang up Consultant’s secretary yesterday to check I hadn’t been missed for my 6 week following up ENT appointment. Almost 5 weeks since my nasal surgery. Taking long to heal. Just hoping I’m not doing too much too fast. Everything is 35-50% but still doing quite a lot of volume Was planning to ramp up the weight 5% next week | ||
