started doing some mobility and little bits yesterday. cant do all my usual stuff but most of it. my back was getting bad so had to do something to ease it anyway. bin 3 week now anyway.

yesterday also did

press ups x 20 superset with rear db fly @ 4.5kg x 20

x 5 sets

today

squat 20 x 5 x 5
bench 20 x 10 x 5
chin ups x 12, 12, 10

tried some rows yest but felt it strain my stomach least i can do pull ups as long as i keep the form strict it shud be fine. also cudnt really arch on bench as cud feel that pulling on it so had to drop it.

not gunna add weight for a while will use press ups n chins to tick over strength n just do empty bar work to perfect technique.

some mobility followed by squats n bench

squat
20 x 10
30 x 10
40 x 10
45 x 10
50 x 10

not bad, stomach felt ok but didnt apply full force or brace properly with abs just tried to keep back tight.

bench
20 x 10
30 x 10
40 x 10
45 x 10
50 x 20
50 x 20

still cant arch n cudnt tense abs really so felt quite unstable at times as there was no tension in core or in legs. form needs lot of work but guess not arching has thrown my usual groove off aswell as still adjusting to the new grip

Good to see you easing in dom why don't you consider benching with your feet up for a while using the lighter weights Happy

more mobility n benching

bench
20 x 20
40 x 10
50 x 10
60 x 10
70 x 10 x 5 sets

was gunna stick at 60x10's but 70 was still quite comfy. cud of done 10x10 easy enough no doubt.

kickbacks (lol) x 10 x 5 sets

strict press 20 x 10 x 5 sets (15 sec rests)

comfy session, hopefully squeeze some squats in tmoz n may test deads. bench seemed more stable today kind of half tensing abs. still working on my elbow/wrist line tho. strict was just to get used to the movement again more than anything else.

prob start new journal soon n try get back into a proper routine of 4 days a week + mutliple exercises (still keeping it light n easy tho) n daily mobility. mainly so when im back to proper training il already be doing the same days per week n wont be a shock to my current lazy lifestyle.

mobility n weights

BW 79.7 after food

Squat
20 x 10 fronts
20 x 10
40 x 10
60 x 10
70 x 10 x 5

comfy enough just learning a slightly different technique which hopefully wont be as bad on my knees

Deads
50 x 10
70 x 10
70 x 1 x 10

surprised how comfy these was. applied decent force aswell with no trouble. also slight change in technique on deads too.

while i was unable to train i had a good think and decided to adjust my form on all the main lifts, mostly for further injury prevention and as im building up light anyway it seemed the perfect time to make any changes.

BW 79.1 - ffs pissing me off, upping the cals more as got 11kg to gain. not sleeping much is only factor for weight loss.

bit of accessory

chin/pull ups x 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 9, 6, 5 - mixture of grips n widths

db fly, tri ext, rear fly @ 4.5kg x 15/15/15 x 5 circuits

inc curls @ 15kg x 10, 8, @ 10kg x 10, 10, 10

wanted 10x10 on pull ups. flys still hurt pec slightly even at 4kg lol, will keep them light n see if it heals up.
