Strict Press bar x 5 40 x 5 60 x 5 72.5 x 5, 5 62.5 x 8, 8 slightly better than last time. Seated DB Press 20's x 12 25's x 12 25's x 12 25's x 10 + 20's x 9 drop set Circuits dips x 15, side raise x 15, rc fly x 10, rc raise x 10 x 4 circuits apparently doing dips on kitchen work top is making the wood bend so need another substitute for them that doesnt hurt my elbows. nice session. can tell iv not done circuits or DB's in a while as the higher reps were quite hard to reach. felt good to get some volume in tho. | ||

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | programmed my deads at a lower training max % than my other lifts cos a) iv changed my set up a bit, b) want to get used to the volume of new routine, c) ensures i keep better form. before when i was training near my daily limit for reps my back was always hit n miss so lets see if this solves it. moved grip out a touch so arms are by my side rather than in front of me, also trying to get more weight onto my heel instead of mid foot. Deadlift 50 x 6, 6 90 x 5 120 x 3 150 x 2 170 x 1 belt 195 x 1 175 x 4 x 4 strange tbh, felt lighter but also felt slower. form felt like it was perfect tho n think this new set up will be safer for my back. hopefully it will get faster with practice. SLDL 120 x 5 140 x 5, 5 125 x 8, 8 was seeing stars mid way thru 175's so altho the SLDL weights felt ok i felt awful. best described as a combo of headache, brain-freeze and about to pass out. Pull Ups x 10, 9 even these were an effort. f**ked it off felt to ill. missed 2 sets of pull ups n the circuits. | ||

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | Bench 20 x 10, 10 50 x 5, 5 80 x 5 100 x 3 115 x 2 125 x 1 115 x 4 115 x 4 115 x 4 115 x 3 + F + Dead press / hit pin on 4th n wobbled too much 125 felt really comfy. hoping for a decent 135 in couple weeks which is only 5kg off my paused bench before the pec injury, change of grip and 5kg cut in BW. if i get it il be very happy to be only 5kg down Strict Bench 100 x 5, 5 90 x 8, 7 wanted 90x8,8 so will repeat weights next week DB Bench 40's x 9 35's x 10, 8, 7, 7 thought 40s was hard so lowered to 35 n realised i was just fatigued as i had decent rests n still dropped off on reps each set. Circuits - tri push up, side raise, rc raise, rc fly x 3 circuits not benched in 10 days so thought it might feel off but felt pretty comfy n new grip is feeling more 'normal' now. hopefully overtake paul soon | ||

I shall lap it up while it lasts. I'm planning on staying away from anything near a max for 3 months and then seeing where I'm at. 140 paused bench would be nice | ||

Chins x 10 x 4 Inc DB Row @ 20's x 15 x 4 Ab Wheel x 10 x 3 ab wheel is my new toy/torture device. sore is an understatement | ||

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | BW 80.9 after food Seated Log 40 x 10 60 x 5 70 x 4 80 x 3 90 x 2 100 x 2 95 x 3, 3, 3, 3 supposed to do 100 x 1, 90x3x4 but felt strong so did bit more. routine is low %'s for reps to make sure their all smooth n i dont get injured but feel i can push it closer to my limit more often on overhead work so will prob do that. the 95s wasnt easy but wasnt grinders either so a good decision i think. Strict Press 20 x 5 40 x 5 60 x 5 70 x 2 75 x 5, 5 62.5 x 8, 8 slight increase on 5's from last week, thought i got 7 on last set last time so kept same weight but it was the week before, i got both 8s last week. oops. Seated DB Press 20's x 12 25's x 12, 12, 12, 12 bit better but longer rests i think. last set still a fight for 12th so same weight til all sets are smoother Side Raise x 15 + RC Fly x 10 + RC Raise x 10 x 4 sets | ||

Chins x 10, 10, 9, + pull ups x 10 DB Inc Row @ 25's x 10 x 4 sets Ab wheel x 10 x 4 sets chins still feel weak for some reason. much better session than last week cos i didnt feel like death today so got all my assistance in. | ||
