Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | Bench 20 x 20 50 x 5 80 x 5 100 x 3 110 x 2 120 x 1 130 x 1 belt on 140 x 1 tng 120 x 3 110 x 5 110 x 5 110 x 5 110 x 5 110 x 5 140 was on the limit. pleased to hit it before time off tho, gives goatse face something to chase for few months also wanted 120x5 but felt s**t so didnt even try Strict Bench 100 x 5 100 x 5 100 x 5 100 x 5 100 x 5 80 x 9 + 1 80 x 8 + 2 80 x 8 + 2 80 x 7 + 3 80 x 6 + 3 + 1 wanted 80x10x5 but too fatigued so did rest pause sets to make them upto 10 reps. OH Tri Ext x 20, 15, 15 Side Raise x 20, 15, 15 RC Raise x 25 x 4 sets Bench Dips x 30 Tri Push Up x 15, 12, 12 thought id make most of last upper body day. pleased with all work i got in n happy with 140 bench as im sure it was early december n i was still unable to do half of an assisted push up so to be where i am with losing weight, changing grip, and pec still not 100% (felt it today but carried on as last session n also felt it doing shrugs other day) has me convinced i can get beyond my best with enough time. | ||

Grandad Goatse Member 2494, 5035 posts SQ 120, BP 110, DL 125355.0 kgs @ 67kgs UnEq | I'm getting results that come to around 136-137 on the 1rm calculator at the moment quite comfortably without grinding any reps, so I know I am getting close. But I'd rather just keep doing it the way I am as I think this is the longest run of consistent training I've ever had. If it ain't broke don't fix it I look forward to seeing how your comeback goes. Strength comes back really fast so I'm sure you'll be back to a good level a couple of months after you start. | ||

Strength comes back really fast so I'm sure you'll be back to a good level a couple of months after you start. ye id say ur benching is stronger than mine n its great to see ur training going well for a change n u been more confident (said it was mostly confidence holding u back for years) as im certain ul hit some big numbers if u can keep ur plan working for you. im curious to see what strength il lose as never really had much time off. sure i cud get it back quickly but thinkin a slower approach maybe better with focus on volume til that stalls then go from there | ||

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | Squats - Paused unless stated 20 x 10 50 x 5 80 x 5 110 x 3 130 x 2 150 x 1 belt on 170 x 5 wraps (not paused) 100 x 10 x 5 sets 170 wasnt too bad to say warm ups didnt feel great. 5th rep was a little ugly as i started to round over a bit but not that bad. cudnt be assed with 10x5 so did 5x10 a bit lighter instead. Side Ups (wide) x 10 x 5 sets done. felt f**ked after that | ||

Uk limbo dancing champion Member 2666, 6551 posts SQ 202, BP 170, DL 255627.0 kgs @ 88kgs UnEq | at the min its very uncomfy just sitting or standing let alone moving. however iv had a cough n cold n sneezing is a f**ker, im sure if i can sneeze i cud do most things but it hurts like hell when i do. plan is to wait until theres no pain with laying down, moving onto my side ect, then try n do a few more things n find my limits. was told 2 weeks to return to normal activity 6 weeks until i can train. im still up n about n can do a squat if i need to bend down to reach anything and iv lowered the dose of painkillers last few days so is improving. had op last thurs. so plan is rest a few more weeks then try some mobility exercises n progress from there to small movements like press ups (maybe assisted to start), curls, raises, light chest supported rows ect. and then the 3 powerlifts with empty bar to brush up technique | ||
