nice deads petey boy! I think I may have to give up one event to you! Wink
MrSmall
do you have a somewhat strong grip, Pete?

who is it with the world grip games or some s**t and breaks snooker balls.
AvatarPete
Will - Thanks mate. It's the just the kind of event where, if I can find a rhythm, I can normally blast out quite a few reps.

Mr Small - I would like to think that my grip is my greatest strength. However, I know nothing about grip championships and smashing snooker balls etc.Confused

Grip Stuff could be:

David Horne
Nick McKinless
Jim Wylie
Faz
Holle family

Solid deadlifts Pete!

Only one way to get your shoulders stronger - train them!! Wink
AvatarPete
Thanks Jonny.

I've got every intention of putting in the necessary training to get much stronger shoulders for next year.

Spot on big man. I remember you well Faz. Your legendary one handed deadlift feats etc.

Actually Pete I was thinking more from liverpool university. Remember JP, Matt etc?

Matt still keeps in touch with Rick and he mentioned you got into Strongman. Good to see around mate, it's been years.

Course I remember everyone mate. Happy

I was just concentrating on some of your strength feats.Grin Don't be modest - your (Junior?) British record one handed deadlift.

They were good times at Uni.

Yeah I think I held the british record for all of ten minutes, it was fairly uninspiring really.

Tell Rick I said hello won't ya.
AvatarPete
Yeah, some good times back then. I spoke to Matt R on facebook, only last week. I saw John Paul a few months ago as well.

You still held a British record Faz. Don't put yourself down.

I'll tell Rick that you said hello.

Thanks Ben. Yeah, I'm really happy with training at the moment. Unlike many others, I love deadlifting from that height. It's less technical, IMHO.
