I skimmed through my Beefs comp 2006 DVD yesterday, mostly watching our bits. We were of very close ability overall, hence the result. My Conan's was pretty good Happy

I do miss being a strongman Unhappy

I understand this since the mountains ahead are much steeper and more dangerous as the journey moves forward, but deep inside in your dreams the others heard a yearning. Pretend it isn’t so! You get hurt 75% of the time being greedy to eat too much iron on the shelves that need extremely more maintenance!

stretching routines, nunchucker practice and various online training videos posted from my mixed martial arts school... obviously no contact pressure point throws etc but I have breakboards which my children use and some cardio...definatly not the same as attending classes.

i do some blocking routines and punch and kick routines for my 4 and 6 year olds as they cant really do me much damage...yet, but i have to as you say, shadow kick and box.
I intend to spend out on a punch bag... ive seen the standing ones are about 250-400 quid an investment for my children as well as myself I think.

we were physically very powerful when we were younger sir.

enjoyable day competing with you, i picked the conans poorly and carried it on my wrists...was expecting it to be my best event.

I must say though, i am enjoying having a 6 pack and being mobile sir. like yourself, i can still shift some weight when pressed...long game now sir, look at billy for example !

People experience both negative and positive emotions at the same time. They not only enjoy the relief they feel when the threat is removed but also enjoy being scared like when your standing in front of a huge crowd firing up a circus dumbbell. The same is they argued, may help explain why humans are drawn to extreme sports like strongman and other risky activities that elicit terror or disgust. Hmmm

Looking at those shrug reps remembering the weird days in the basement supermarket gym moooldy thrown dumbbells through drywall 1000 set shrugs with a bunch of sceeery heeery dudes feeling so at home free protein shakes for all hip hip anyway I am going to play fun weights now since the Covid has stopped the comps
