Training

today i went for 140 bench
failed quite miserably, got it off the chest, but that was about it lol, failed about 1/5th of the way up

it went something like this

100kgx3

120kgx1 Fast as hell!!

ahwell atleast i know what it feels like

Dips

9, yes 9!!!!! then 6 all at 121 bodyweight


Pushdowns

45kg straight bar, 10

50kg v bar, 8

on the 120kg, 2 sets i did 4 or 5, but phil only counted theones which were deeeeep, whih was a bit of a pain., but its all good

Front squats

There is only one way to squat and that is DEEP!!! I wouldn't have counted the high ones eitherHappy.

they werent that high, they were paralell at the highest

but high squats are my biggest problem at the moment so once its sorted (and hopefully my weight goes up) i will be a mre rounded p/l'er

first comp will more than likely be on 25th of august in cornwall, BDFPA single lift comp, i will be entering u/e bench and deadlift (there not doing squats)

the only reason it wont be is if my dad has to take my step grandparents back to morecombe Angry

just wanted to try them really, i would imagine my form was cerrrrrrrap

BW hangs

get to 3x20 seconds and i will add 10kg

the chin bar is quite thick, and rubber coated so grip on it is poor, so out of interest i tried chins on the smith machine with the bar at the highest thing, and got 5 easy reps, which was pleasing

200 wasnt as easy as i expected which is why i went for 227 rather than 230

215 was better

227.5 was my best rep lol

227.5 wasnt hitched either which is awesome

Legs talced + salts

215kgx1 slightly hitched

Side bends, 40kg 12 each side

weighted crunches, 10kgx3, then dropped the weight and did 17 more

Leg raises 23,20
