That would be 28 mins walking 1:30 jogging and 30 seconds sprinting lol!! Having a bit of structure to it would be good, got a load of tyres up there aswell so want to bring them into it some how

we used to set it up under the posts, 10 flips out walk to the try line and back, 10 flips. repeat till your under the other posts.

Haha depends on how fit you want to get!!!

Suicides are horrible as the name suggests!
Start on the dead ball line, sprint to the try line and jog back, sprint to the 22, jog back..... ect..... do the same for every line on the pitch and then rest and repeat!!! Muchos love!!

Yea suicides are disgusting, cheers for the link, they tyre flip thing sounds wrong!!

I have used different variations of suicides with every team I have coached. We do them with partners a lot where you rest when your partner goes but make them do both directions at about 95% effort.

Chucking some B/W stuff in at every line makes for a pukefest come preseason.

Might have to come up with a variation

Seated shoulder press with purple bands

60kg, 8 sets of 3

Chins with red band

8 sets of 3

Done in 30 mins

Did the 10 try flips run back to the start and back, 10 tyre flips run back.... Until I had flipped the tyre 100m

Did it with one of the medium tyres, about 150-200kg did it in 6 sets

Fuuuucked

10 tyre flips, 30m sprint, 40m tyre carry, 30m sprint, 10 tyre flips

Killer

Scrum machine push, 15secs on 15 secs rest x4

Push it back as a pair

Scrum machine push, 15secs on 15 secs rest x4

Push it back 15 secs on 15 secs off x6

Tyre flip x 25

Killed

3x50m would be good I think, should keep the sprints fast

Your looking at 3 sets of flips then. Is say that with 5min rest between sets. Would be fairly brutal.

Another fairly ridiclous one is to get a log or sleeper, whack it on your back and do a lap of the pitch of lunges.. Stop/rest as often as you want. 300m lunging with weight is brutal!

Had a sprint session with one of the top south of England guys today

Did a load of drills on positioning and how the foot strikes the ground

Plyometric stuff

3 point start

Hill bounds which are filthy

Sled sprints

Regular sprints over 70m

65m hill sprints to finish

Great session enjoyed the technical side of it and the hill bounds and sprints are horrendous

and more importantly , can it be used in rowing.
