1.6km ran, plan to work this up to the full 2k, then go to 3 k and so on, goal is to continuously run 5k

Not too bad considering I haven't deadlifted in quite a long time and lost nearly 20kg bw

Red band x12 PB
Purple band x 4
Body weight x1

Think I could do 3 body weight fresh which is nice

Goals for pre season

Be able to run 5k continuously
Do a set of 5 proper decent chins no bands or straps
double bw deadlift
Weigh sub 125kg

Deadline is 31/08 as that's my birthday Happy

tried chins with 41 red band. didnt make it much easier.. got 5 then failed miserable. i hooked it under my knee though, will try it standing on it next time. was miserable when wee 12 years olds came in and banged out 10 beside me. f**kers.

cheers mate, should be pretty easy

think i will get the chins done pretty soon, seem to be making good progress with them

plan training wise is
monday - pressing
tuesday - treadmill
wednesday squat/deadlift alternating heavy/speed
thursday - speed pressing
friday - treadmill
saturday - rest
sunday - treadmill

i think alot of the time i will treadmill thursday instead of friday, depending on how i feel after wednesdays session

treadmill is gonna be a mix of stuff, probably be alot of things like run 400m walk 100m x 5 etc etc, working towards getting the 5k done, have looked at the couch to 5k plan and will be taking some ideas from it

plan is roughly to get some work in on the treadmill in the week, then sundays go for as long as i can

Did a bit of bench in a strange gym on a weird bench upto 150x2, then pin press from chest height

Trainings looking good mate, and well done on the house and award!

Have a look into a programme called couch to 5k. You can then adjust it to where your at at, its a good routine with good progression

yea ive seen it mate, butchered it a bit with moving etc, but get the keys friday, should be liveable by the 25th ish then i can get back into the routine
