Boar said:Every meet I have ever been too, there was a mix of abilities , everyone is supported and encouraged , I would urge you to join a federation and enter the next comp available ... just make sure you are lifting within the rules of that fed - i.e not doing s**tty form or wearing the wrong kit

as soon as you step on the platform, you will know you made the right
decision

best of luck

your lifts are fine !!

Thanks for the reply , any feds you recommend?

Contemplating entering my first powerlifting comp but not sure if my lifts are good enough, don't want to turn up and just scrape through. My stats at present are BW is 76kg 34yrs old Squat 120kg 1-2reps ,Deadlift 160kg 1rep, Bench 90kg 1-2reps. Always trained off and on but last few months have switched to strength training and have become instantly addicted to it and would like to test myself in a comp but I'm slightly hesitant, any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time
