Overheads

Clean + Press - 1 x 5 @ 50kg, 1 x 5 @ 57kg, 1 x 3 @ 62kg, 1 x 2 @ 67kg, 1 x 1 @ 67kg

Left the session at that, elbow was f**ked.

Starting to get pissed off.

Deadlift Session:

Deadlift - technique
Seated Rows - 3 x 10 @ 65kg
Rack Pulls - 3 x 10 @ 120kg

Candlesticks - 3 x 15
Back Exts - 3 x 15 w/10kg

Have a friend training with me now that hasn't done a lot of the core exercises before. Took this session to teach him the technique and used the chance to take a look at my tech too. Back on the decent weights next week.

Bench Session:

Bench Press - 1 x 5 @ 77kg, 3 x 2 @ 80kg
Weighted Dips - 3 x 8 @ BW+15kg
DB Bench - 3 x 6 w/25kg DBs

Bench has been giving me a lot of trouble lately, lots of pain in my left elbow. If it continues think I'll have to get it seen to. Pain in the ass!

Taken a loooong break from serious training, for several annoying reasons. Back on track now. Took last two weeks of light training couple times a week.

Started properly again as of today.

Squat Session:

Squat - 1 x 5 @ 105kg, 1 x 3 @ 107.5kg, 2 x 2 @ 112.5kg
Front Squat - 3 x 4 @ 82.5kg
Leg Press - 3 x 10 @ 190kg (easy)
Hamstring Curls - 3 x 10 @ 55kg

Straight forward session, not too much strength lost. Happy days.

You're right in upping your rack pulls, the weight on these should be greater than what your dead lifting. I too used to struggle at the knees, rack pulls fixed that. Now I am weak off the floor.. you can never win!

Thanks. They're going to be a permanent fixture as of now, or at least until I get weak off the floor haha.

Missed out on the Close-grip today, gym was too busy.

Deadlift - 1 x 5 @ 165kg, 1 x 3 @ 170kg, 1 x 2 @ 175kg, 1 x 2 @ 180kg
Bent Rows - 3 x 10 @ 95kg
Rack Pulls (just below knee) - 3 x 8 @ 140kg

Managed to hit the double at 180kg this time. Dropped the set of 5 to a lower weight to give me more juice for the triples and doubles, seemed to work.

Repeated the same weight/rep range on the bench as last week. Managed all the sets without assistance so the weight will go up next week.

Front Squat - 3 x 8 @ 77.5kg
Lunges + Sled drag.

Straight forward session.

Finished up with some Roll-outs and Spartan Plank. Really going to try and push the weight up on the Rack Pulls because my DL sticking point is just above the knee.

Dips - 3 x 10 @ BW+15kg

First attempt at Band Press. Now I have a feel for it I'll up the weight, as of next week. Also, the Squat rack I usually use for dips was busy so I had to fashion a dips rack out of some scaffolding we had lying around. Setup wasn't quite right. Next session will be BW+20kg.

Good Mornings - 3 x 8 @ 50kg

Finished with some core. Squats and Front Squats were both fairly easy, no complaints.

Was the first time I'd done good mornings so kept it light. Will make sure I've got the technique right then start upping the weight, as of next session.
