| pilot hole a very small drill bit through the top of the keg to let the pressure out, where goggles in case it pop the drill bit . next angle gringd the top of the keg where the adapter fits . only remove around 5mm which is the lip that holds the core. now you can tap the core around usung a hammer and chisel . anti clock i think . remove core and cut the tube off it but keep the top of the core as this goes back as the plug fill with water and sand using a funnel a standard keg can make 180 kg , i made 2 for englands practice last year. fit core back and smack round with hammer to tighten. then use duck tape over it to stop it coming loose. jobs a fish home bargains scales go upto 200kg  | |||

Post Edited: 18.04.2012 @ 17:01 PM by robdren1981 hey guys . as most of you in the mids may be aware i have retired from comps. how ever its with great honour i have been asked by dave meer to be head ref at this years mids . every year the mids lads make it through to uk's and i expect the same this year looking at the talent. all the rules and regs will be expained on the day, but i promise i will be strict, fair and non biased. the best will make it - end of . i'll be checking what squat briefs you have bought prior to the show starting so don't bring 2 ply and think you'll be ok cos you won't .it will be ran as uksc stipulates, so you know what to expect in the follow up comps. wish you all the best and bring your A game . cheers rob dren | |||

| thanks. i paid it lots of thought mate and it feels the right time. ive had alot of injuries in a short space and im lookin at starting a family . in honesty i doubt ill be back as an athlete as ill be dropping to around 19st and working on conditioning more than anything. cheers | |||

| i tried it on buddy and it was perfect . im 6ft 1 . 56"chest 38"waist 45"around biggest bit of glutes,30" thighs at 21st 4. i had to really dip my shoulder one at a time and pull hard. it took a good 6 min to get in it. never used it as injured but felt awesome trying to lean over , alot better fit than the metal i used to have | |||

| hey guys , got 2 stones out of my set that i never use so might aswell let someone else use em. i made these myself using proper moldings for a 125 stone and i added poly balls to keep the weight down. a few of the balls rose near the surface so i dug them out and filled with concreate. they are ok practice stones . i test dropped them and they didnt split so will do for training. made from sand cement and epoxy glue to help strengthen. like i say they aren't in the same realms of jt's so if you want the best buy his (i have a 180 off him and its far better than i could do). £30 each or pair for £50 . in nottingham . cheers | |||
