luki | Which Whey to go | 19-03-2015 @ 10:04
Avatar Member 5517, 1538 posts SQ 160, BP 165, DL 201526.0 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | I stopped taking whey for a while, but recently upped training and am hungry all the time. Was going to start taking it again with oats in work to avoid buying crap food. https://www.perfectbody.ie/mutant-whey-4540-g?search=mutant is the last one I had. Its got no aspartame etc sugar substitutes but has a bit of sugar. Would I be better with a different brand or is whey just junk food anyway. We feed it to pigs to make them fat here, so I'm a bit dubious of the marketing health claims.

I use Impact whey isolate, comes out at about 82% protein when chocolate flavoured (90% when unflavoured) just cos i dont like having the 3grams of fat and 3carbs that the normal impact whey gives, if your not bothered about the extra 40cals per 100g of powder just go with the impact whey.... if you dont want aspartamine choose a 'natural' flavour of the impact whey/whey isolate

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | I don't have the spreadsheet to hand but someone released the results of independant testing on various brands of protein products across UK and US. Myprotein was near the top in terms of getting what you actually pay for. The range of protein vs filler in some of the brands was, disturbing is all I'll say but Myprotein ranked solidly.
