I'm just finishing a month of steadily cutting back to compete at u90 and if nothing else it has absolutely confirmed that eating more and gaining a bit of bodyweight is 100% behind the couple of PBs I've recently managed to hit. So that will probably be the way forward in my immediate future if I want the chance of lifting heavier weight. I am going to alternate heavy deads to no more than every other week going forward as well; as they are disproportionately difficult for me to recover from. | ||
