Zerchers and Walkouts

heard and read alot abotu these recently.

are they good for strongman training when in the gym. while im off from doing events wondering if worth giving these a go to boost my strength up a bit.

the walkouts, are they basically lifting the weight and walking of the rack? like holding the yoke weight.

A walkout is just taking the bar out of the racks as if you were going to squat it, and then reracking it. Normlly with a lot more than you'd squat.

If you've got back problems, id get those sorted before doing stuff with a weight above your squat max. In fact, id get it sorted before I did anything heavy for the back.
