I'd like to thank all those lifters, loaders, spotters, officials and everybody that paid on the door for turning out. Special thanks to the guys from Blackburn Distribution who even hung around after the event to help us clear up. Entrants were around 30% down this year with the biggest drop being in unequipped lifters. I'm guessing that this is mainly down to the changing date of the British event. We witnessed some great lifting over the two days including many British and regional records. Despite the drop in numbers I am pleased to report that we have still turned in a small profit on the event which will be put back into powerlifting through the English Powerlifting Federation and grass roots lifting. | ||
