Trained tonight started with deadlift and managed to work upto 225kg single. Need to back of bit and ramp up triples each week adding weight. I will hopefully smash through my 250 previous PB as thats the weight for reps at comp!!

Then did some clean and press to practice technique. used 75kg and managing to split under bar fairly well now also tried some from behind head with 50kg to get feel.

that was me wrapped up tonight and bicep tendons on fire from pressing from too low again.

Well managed to get 180kg squats up for 2 sets of doubles this weeks so strength is climbing nice. These were easy to so it's more next week.

Trained in bristol again today. we did yoke for 200kg I think which I struggled with today then tried 310kg which I got 2 steps with pmsl. Then farmers walk at 100kg but then failed 120kg a side as still recobering from squats i think. Thats my excuse and sticking to it Grin

Then did duckwalk with 120kg and really struggled.

Then a medley with yoke, farmers and duckwalk. got 59secs I think but was blowing out my ass when finished.

Finished with all the gear and weights back into transit van then van pull which I liked but thighs burn like crazy.

Entering a novice comp with the rest of the bristol crew so looking forward to that.

The more i train strongman the more respect I have for the people that compete.

Well my body is still in bits and recovery is slow so did a super girly pumping session tonight for rehab of arms and shoulders. then did 10 mins hard cardio just to start trying to work on fitness.

Later in week will be another light session as need to get my bicep tendons healing.

well the rest did some good but just think I need to get my conditioning up which will come with time. No amount of gym work can prepare you for it i dont think.

did some axle incline press at 115kg by aqccident and got 3 just about the 5 at 105kg i think

then some deads and worked upto 230kg single. then dropped back for 200kg reps, well rep as was burned out and got oneAngry

then the loading onto platforms and s**t that was hard work! 80kg atlas stone onto platform about eye level. then 2 beer kegs onto next levels, cant remember weight so must of been at least 180kgGrin then a massive keg which is 112kg but so bloody big. first attempt took 2 trys and next one just couldnt get it.

finished with tyre flipping about 380 i think which i need to work on and then forearm hurt so had to stop as i am clearly a big girls blouse lol!

Damn washing machine went bang at weekend so got a good chance to test my washing machine lift ready for comp in may Grin Managed a good lift and good distance carry to.

Spent all day yesterday with raging hangover after sat night but ready for good session in gym tomorrow night.
