I also like prestige but have no conflict about Jackman. He was born an arshole. This is rare indeed. Well done Mr and Mrs jackman Hitler.

Im a user of lovefilm and can recomed Vikings series. I also enjoyed lie to me and breaking bad. Jerrico is quiet good also.

I do not like High Jackman though-or Christian get off my stage Im an actor Bales. However, batman was the best film that I saw last year and have been conflicted by this ever since.

Go easy with that stuff. You might need a clean out period. Not everyone can take such a big protein hit in one go.

Ive dropped to 85k ???

Today Squats at speed onto toes:
60x5. 80x5. 100x5.

Deadlift no belt and with 3 fingers, cant use straps as pressure hurts my fracture:

60x5. 100x5. 140x5. 160x5. 170x5 175x5.

Neggative deadlift 220k. Struggled to hold past the knee as grip in Rhand went.

High pulls 100k x5 x 4 sets

Hyper extensions partner pushing on back 3x12. not the same without weight.

Sittups with dumbelle held high 16kx15. 24kx15.

Happy with second session since the fracture. Didnt think I would dead more that 120 so happy.

I havent had time to read for a long time because of study.

As a man thinketh James Allen is one of my fav books with Johnnathan Livinstone Seagual by Batch. The Ansestors tale by Dawkins is a must read to understand evolution properly.

I read his Dark materials prob the last book I read outside of study but after 3 books the ending was crap. I was very very cross

Not to keen on Pinker or Chomsky but looking at these books you may enjoy what the face revealls by Ericson. Its a heavey read but worth it. On a lighter note you may enjoy Blink by Malcome Gladwell. Also reading between the lines you may enjoy persuasion engineering by Bandler ( the man who inspired Derron Brown)

What book did you just read? Synopsis + opinion

What book are you reading? Opinions thus far

What book do you intend on reading next and why?

Also feel free to advocate any books you have read in the past and think are worth looking at always looking for inspiration on where to go next.

I'll start.

Last book - What Every Body Is Saying - A book written by an ex FBI agent on body languadge and crash course on how to read it.

Good read if not a little boring at times I have found some of it's reads on people fairly useful but I'm still finding my feet with it. For the most part if your not a social retard you will have an idea about quite a few of the reads already.

Current Book - How the mind works by Steven Pinker (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mind-Works-Penguin-Press-Science/dp/01... - Basically a big popular science book on the brain based in Neurology.

Very interesting book with a lot of good and useful things to say. Would definitely recommend. I think the science is a bit dated now (it was published in 1999) but quite a lot of the philosophy and big points are still really interesting and prescient.

Next book Smarter Investing: Simpler Decisions for Better Results - reason for reading - CJR recommended it to me in another thread Grin

I won a comp with these exact rules in 2006 at 95kg.

No one heavier entered! But in contrast to the predictions the heaviest guy won so dont be put off entering based on weight.

Push press 62x3. 72x3. 80x3. feelt stiff so stopped.

Medicin ball 13kg trow strick standing x15 for explosive power.

Strick standing press 12.5k dumbelles 15 seconds for speed for explosion for 3 sets feelt ok.

Crucifix dumbelle movement from front to side to overhead 6 reps then further 6 reps with 6 second crusifix hold with 8k dumbelle- suprise it was hard.

Starting a journal to keep track of my progress.

Have just been given the green light from the Dr after 4 weeks with a fractured finger. Still sore but can work around.

Want to be log pressing 105 by xmas and clean and press 115.

Another goal is do deadlift 260 by Apil next year.

Most important goal- not to get any more injuries or I may have to stop, don a tangerine thong and start bodybuilding. No one wants to see that happen.

Competing 1st September- will not be healed but what the hell.
