Thanks mate.Glad to start training stones again!Need lots of work on everything at the moment.Log isn't to good right now.I started making fairly good progress last year until injuring the elbowUnhappy .I think I can get it beyond my previous PB fairly quickly if I can train it consistently.

2nd set of fronties looked strong last night mate. Looking forward to getting back to the big Tuesday squat sessions

Thanks James, felt like I'd missed em for more than 2 wks though.Felt like I laboured on most the squats last night. The 2nd set was better probably cause I was pissed off from the lousy effort before it.Embarassed

Mick - have you ever seen the vid i did of your 355 a couple years back ? its one of my fave lifts

whats the injuries your carrying at the moment ?

355kg

Yes Boar I saw the vid a bit back when Wayne Catt told me about this site.It was a real grinder,if one of the spotters had blown on the bar I'd have failed it LOL.I've had 2 problematic injuries for a few months. The back problems an old one which reccurs fom time to time. It's a saccroilliac joint problem, causing trapped nerves ect.It started to flare up in summer during the sman season and I didn't really back off enough so it just got worse.I've also had bursitis on my left elbow sice mid october, had it drained about a month ago and stopped pressing movements for 4 wks or so.Both seem to be healing nicely now!Strange thing was I found squats and deadlifts very uncomfortable, but I've been able to partial deadlift,do heavy farmers pick ups + fronties with no pain at all so I've done them for last 7 wks

Great too see a journal mate, will make cracking reading

How is the elbow now? Fully healed?

Thanks James,I thought it would be a good idea from a critique perspective aswell as keeping a record of my training. The elbow feels much better.I think the rest as done it a world of good.Strapped it up over holiday as Joni advised and thats helped aswell.Just got some vulcan supports so i'll use them from now on.Didn't feel any ill affects from pressing on monday,Clean and press went ok but the benching was poor.Suppose I should expect that with the lay off from pressing for last month or so.Not really handled any kind of weight or had any consistency since mid october so the tri's are weak at the moment.
