Deads: Worked up to a 3RM 195Kg PB, 180Kgx3
Jerk behind the neck: Worked up to 90Kg, 100KG (F), (F), Some jerk balances with 50Kg
80Kg Sandbag shoulder and carry 80m

Wanted another triple but failed. Other deads were OK. Not done JBN before so technically was a PB. Sandbag shouldering needs more work, running with it was fine though.

A. Back Squat: worked up to 140Kg 2(F) Angry , 120Kg 3-3-3
B1. Log one motion (sub max weight): 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1
B2. Axle GTOH (sub max weight): 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1
C. Log one motion 67Kg: 3-3-3-3-3

Sodding squats!!! Still losing torso when coming out of the hole needed some assistance for the thrid rep. Going to de-load, increase volume and keep with the pause squats.

Was happy with the medley, not really blowing too much and not timed. One motions generally are getting slowly better.

First time Ive managed to squat without the aid of a belt for about five weeks.Back is on the mend.

Cheers mate, training hasnt been as consistent as I would like, dont feel like I have much of a plan.

One motions arent giving me any grief (and i'm gash at strict overhead) so I reckon there here to stay. Thanks for the suggestion mate!

Pause squats (4 seconds): 80Kg 3-3-3-3-3-3, 90Kg 3-3-3
Log one motion, 62Kg: 5-5-5-5-5
Ab roll outs: 10-10-10

Want to start throwing pause squats in more regulary. One motion saves my shoulder better. Happier with one motion tech.

It's about that fast without straps!! Well on the log i think it's all about tech myself, it's hard to get alot of leg drive into the log and easy to make it more of a strict log than a push press.. So i would start light with some more reps / volume to get the technique down then go heavier!!

Cheers mate, i squat with a lower bar but i think you might be right as i lost just coming out of the hole and it did feel like a balance issue.

How can i control it?

Thurs 27 Jan

Back Squat worked to: 3x140Kg, 1(F)x140Kg
Deadlift worked up to: 1x180Kg
Log one motion: Lots of reps, worked to 80Kg and then six touch and go 62Kg

First triple was fine, lost the second rep as the bar shifted forward and pinned me to the floor ha ha!! Messed with my head a little as the deads felt heavy. should have pushed on with the squat.

Not sure why the bar tends to shift forward, I wear weightlifting shoes but might try barefoot next time, see if that helps. Will get 3x3 next session!

Think one motion on the log is better on my left shoulder as i have been getting some pain when the log is in the rack position. Needed to get lots good reps after recent log sessions.

Strong work overhead including the axle work. Guess with the quick turn over you clean it straight to your shoulders?

I'm trying to do something similar with the log (my tech is gash though). Do you think it's best to try and push on with relatively heavier weights (for me anyway) or start lighter than i think i need to?
