JC - I like to have a plan. As I said to you last night, strength is down at the minute, but I'm hoping it will return...240 x 2 isn't for a few weeks yet though! Wink The plan of being fit and ripped is well underway, it's just the strength that worries me a little... Then again, I've never been hugely statically strong so it's not like it's something that I'm not used to.

Smalls - bloody Traps can't do Saturday again, so I'm training on Sunday this week, trying to snatch on a s**tty thick bar with metal plates! Angry Grin

John - what do you mean at last? I always do 'proper' training, as in not chaotic training! Wink

Andy - squats and strict press are still sub-par but hopefully on the up! WOD for the chins? Not really - it had gone 9.00 and the gym shuts at 9.00!

This is a 'benchmark' workout (one of many) used to gauge progress. I did this 6 weeks ago and knocked 1.22 off my time. I guess I must be getting fitter... I'm still crap at running though!

Andy - I hope there's a snatch PB on, although that bar at SV isn't ideal for doing Olympic lifts on...

John - I think you actually need to be very fit to do that mate!! Which I am not...

JC - the jerks are feeling much better than they were, yes. Still a long way to go numbers-wise, but at least they're improving.

I tweaked my back on these which basically messed up the rest of my session. I have done the same thing numerous times before and I'm sure it will settle down in a few days. Frustrating!

Axle squat clean
60kg x 1 + 1 belt clean + 1 jerk

80kg x 1 + 1 belt clean + 1 jerk
90kg x 1 + 1 belt clean + 1 jerk
