Pullups/chins come easy if you only weigh 82kg. Lumbar mobility, usually some twists whilst standing at the gym, or lying on a bench. I do them every night in bed too. Knees together, shoulders on bench/bed and twist to one side, hold for 10 seconds. Do that a few times. Shoulder session today Bar clean and 3 press 35kg clean and 3 press 55kg clean and 3 press 65kg clean and 2 press 75kg belt clean and 2 press (sleeves and belt) 85kg belt clean and 2 press 92.5kg belt clean and 1 press PB BTN Jerk with belt and sleeves 55 x 2 75 x 2 85 x 2 90 x 1 95 x 0,1 100 x 0,0 (almost) Dumbbell side hold 12.5s x 26, 15ish Few sets of dumbbell press etc. | ||

Wasn't feeling up to squats, so the plan was do my one work set, no accessory work, then go straight home. No belt, flat soled trainers Squat 55kg x 5 75kg x 5 105kg x 5 115kg x 5 130kg x 10 Found I do better if I don't pause for too long at the top. 2nd rep felt hardest Front squat 55kg x 2 75kg x 2 95kg x 2 105kg x 2 117.5kg x 1 Leg ext Top set of 10, followed by drop sets Twisty abs lying on floor with feet just off floor thingy Few sets with 9kg kettlebell Box squats on smith machine just to kill time. Couple of inches above parallel as was just using a bench 40kg plus bar x 1 80kg plus bar x 1 120kg plus bat x 1 140kg plus bar x 1 150kg plus bar x 1 160kg plus bar x 1 Stretches | ||

Up 2.5kg since last week. REP PB? Front squats 60kg x 2 85kg x 2 105kg x 2 115kg x 1 125kg x 1 Leg ext Top set of 10 with more weight than last week, plus drop sets. Assistance s**t PB Box squat (well bench squat) - inch above maybe 60kg x 2 100kg x 2 135kg x 2 155kg x 2 165kg x 1 Glute stuff on leg ext (standing, leg straight and move leg backwards) 43kg x 10/10 48kg x 10/10 Assistance s**t PB Chins - speed stuff BW X 3,3,3 Stretching at home, crippled last night as per usual after squat sessions. I have one that fits properly, and one that's far too big. I only have one dodgy knee at the moment though. It doesn't give enough support to add anything to my lifts, and I watch my legs as I squat with an empty weight and it doesn't make one leg go in/out more than the other, so the technique isn't altered at all. Just keeps it a bit warm. | ||
