what dod you think of the slingshot?

Thanks Mate Happy . Last session at 1.00 today. If I can get a touch with 195 I'll be where I want to be. I like the Slingshot. It gives me about 50% of the carryover I get from the shirt and approximates the feel of an equipped bench quite well. I can't use the Ram because it slides up my arms, but the Slingshot stays in place. It does tend to fold though, which is a bit of a pain but it still works.

Pretty disappointing bench session today. First the numbers

Bar for 20
70 for 8
90 for 5
110 for 3
130 for 2

Competition shirt on

150 for 2 - miles high
180 for 1 - about 3 inches high
195 - just about touched but didn't get it up
Finish

Well today was about seeing if I could touch 195. Steve reckoned it touched but I didn't feel it, so there or thereabout. I felt really fatigued today, shoulder hurt on the 195, and the 180 from 3 inches felt harder than the 200 from 2 inches on Saturday. So now I rest up for the next 4 days and hit the Vitamin i. Next time I get under a bar will be Friday afternoon in Luxembourg. Fresh, buzzing, and ready to throw up a 195 opener with any luck...

Looking better. They reckon the boat will sail an hour or so late. That should get me into Inverness no later than 7.30 and train is 8.46. Fingers crossed. Happy
