tz1127 said: mate if you have a comp on Sunday I definetly woud not use your suit because you have so little time to get used it to. Ideally you want 6-8 weeks in it, half of it straps down and half of it straps up. I'd also say not t use suit at comp if you've only used it once, unless its seriously loose

For a 200kg opener barx8 60x5 100x3 120x2 140x1 160x1 180x1 190x1 Last 2 with comp commands. Too many warm ups imo for a 200kg opener i'd do bar x5 60 x5 100 x3 140 x2 160 x1 180 x1

Guess we standout a lot ![]() Actually i think its only Pat and Amr that deadlift sumo now, everyone else has gone back to conventional lol

How do you get the fecker on, I can't even get my legs in it, I got it half way up my thighs and gave up, let alone get my butt in it. Any tips ??? Suit slip ons http://www.pullum-sports.co.uk/clothing-and-shoes/powerlifting... you can use plastic carrier bags too, its a case of slowly working it up i find by lunging into the suit as you pull it up you can get it on a lot quicker

tz1127 said: As its a Z-suit, I assume you won't get much out of it, maybe 5-10kg? Personally I squat in a 2nd hand 1 ply Titan centurion that is 2-3 sizes too big. Generally get 40kg over my knee wrap only squat or 50kg over my raw squat without much effort. However, my style of squatting is quite conductive to getting decent carryover. Used to get around 70kg over my raw squat but it has stretched out quite a bit since then. mostly because you've got fat

Equipped lifting is so much different to lifting unequipped What suit and bench shirt are you using? are they loose? tight? very tight? Its impossible to say how much you'll get from the equipment, it'll depend on what it is, how tight it is, how quickly you learn and master the equipment For example i know people that get 10-20kg from a shirt, and some that get much much more |
