I wanted to get back into strongman and everything was going well until I tore my right hamstring 3 weeks away from midlands qualifier. So have spent the latter half of the year doing bodybuilding training and making sure I am healthy and ready to take another run at it. After a fitness test last week my current lifts are: Log - 100 Deadlift - 210 Squat - 180 Front squat - 150 Clean and push press - 110 Bench - 150 These are not the worst lifts to start back with but they certainly are not the best.Lets see what 2015 brings. | ||

Member 1987, 403 posts SQ 275, BP 190, DL 285750.0 kgs @ 108kgs UnEq | Tuesday 23/12/14 Deadlift 70 x 1 110 x 1 150 x 1 205 x 1 160 x 5 Clean and push press 70 x 3 x 3 80 x 3 90 x 3 100 x 3 Farmers walk 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters 80 each hand x 40 meters Made sure these farmers were all around 10-12 seconds and I was moving quick. Not a bad sessions deadlifts felt great | ||

Starting to feel a little bit better. Technique needs some work but I think I could get up to 140 overhead this year. | ||

My targets are to get back to my old strength levels and start competing again without being as FAT and as unhealthy as I used to be. | ||

Just need to make sure I don't end up the same again lol | ||
